Meet Our Tehama County K9 Officers Red Bluff Police Department K-9 Max
Red Bluff Police Department K-9 Max and Officer Lampron
K-9 Max is a German Shepherd-Belgian Malinois crossbreed from vendor Ridgeside K9 NorCal. He and Officer Lampron first met in May of 2022 at Ridgeside K9 NorCal in Chico, CA. Their relationship was rough in the beginning. Within the first hour of taking possession of Max, he tore up the backseat of Lampron's patrol car and bit him in the arm. It's safe to say there was definitely an adjustment period. Says Officer Lampron of those early days, "We were both trying to be the alpha and he was very stubborn about conceding the throne. We’re best friends now though and I can’t imagine life without him!" They finished their basic training together in December and their first day of patrol was January 2, 2023. K9 Max even assisted officers in an arrest with felony warrants on his second day of patrol! The ability to utilize K9's in the field is an invaluable asset to law enforcement offers and your support of this foundation ensures this program is able to continue.
